OIG Dismisses Audit Claims Against FOX Rehabilitation
FOX Rehabilitation, the leading national provider of at home geriatric therapy services, is pleased to report the conclusion of an audit from the Office of the Inspector General showing full compliance with Medicare requirements.
The OIG concluded that medical records from FOX Rehabilitation fully aligned with Medicare coverage and payment rules, and the government’s Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services ‘non-concurred’ with initial findings that there had been ‘unallowable claims’ totaling $29.9 million.
“FOX applauds our government’s decision and is appreciative of the process,” said Dr. Tim Fox, Founder and CEO of FOX Rehabilitation. “We are looking forward to working with the government to aid in building upon its audit methodologies and procedures pertaining to the auditing of documentation relating to older persons and those with chronic conditions.”
The full findings of the audit can be found in the OIG’s Semiannual Report to Congress, April 1, 2018 – September 30, 2018 as a footnote on the bottom of page 62.
Throughout the audit process, FOX remained steadfast in its denial of the initial allegations and stood soundly by the clinical services rendered and its supporting documentation.
Founded in 1998 in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, FOX Rehabilitation’s care meets an unmet need for millions of older adult patients, providing physical, occupational, and speech therapy to geriatric patients in their home environment.
