Dennis Carey Joins Board of Directors of Scanbuy

In recent news, Dennis Carey of Korn/Ferry International has joined the board of directors of Scanbuy.   Scanbuy is a provider of mobile barcode solutions.   As Mike Wehrs, the recently appointed interim CEO and president of Scanbuy said, “The Board is pleased to have Dennis as its newest member to further guide Scanbuy as the company continues to expand its market position. Mobile barcodes are now a significant part of the consideration pool for brands, agencies, retailers and marketers to easily connect their media to mobile content.”

Carey has said that he looks forward to working with the entire board to develop strategies for the year ahead.   In addition to this new appointment, Dennis Carey is vice chairman at Korn/Ferry International, where he conducts searches for CEOs and for corporate directors.   He is also a director of AirClic, the Edgewater Funds and Wharton’s Director’s Institute, which he co-founded.
