Winter (and Summer!) Plans with the Kids

With snow on the ground and the end of winter nowhere in sight, it may feel weird to start planning for summer; but this is exactly the time that people start to look into their summer camp plans. Making it easy to do so, the Ultimate Camp Fair & Activity Expo is coming to Brooklyn at the 5-2-A Event Space located at 33 35th Street between 2nd and 3rd Avenues on Saturday, January 25th. This is an opportunity for families with children from pre-K through middle school to get ideas for summer activities and for activities through 2025.

While looking ahead to summer, you’re undoubtedly still trying to find ways to entertain the kids through the winter. Here is an adorable idea at Decadent Dessserts on Staten Island. On January 17 from 4-6pm they are inviting families to enjoy an afternoon of fun activities with a winter theme. You’ll be able to create s’mores snowmen, decorate desserts with snowflake themes and more.
